Mindful Music Makers

Good to see you here. This is where music meets mindfulness.

In November 2024, I will be forming a small piano cohort for dedicated Music Makers seeking to deepen their connection with music and themselves.

This intimate group (8-10 people) will explore proven strategies for cultivating a joyful, sustainable, and productive piano practice.

While I work on it, you're welcome to subscribe, and I'll keep you updated. I'll also continue sharing new insights about mindful music-making.

*"Music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination and life to everything."

Plato*

As mindful Music Makers, we aren't satisfied only with passive listening.

We feel an irresistible urge to create, to express the melodies and rhythms that light up our minds.

The piano is our chosen medium, translating our inner music into tangible sound art.

On our journey of musical expression, we develop a 'musician's mindset' - a way of thinking that embraces creativity and patience.

Making music literally shapes our minds, and we reap the mental, emotional, and physical benefits.

Here's a song I loved learning, playing, and listening to:

Operator- Jim Croce

What song are you currently obsessed with? Or maybe you're working on something special? I'd love to hear all about it :)
